Here's my portfolio. how aggressively should I diversify?
Apple employee here with 61% of investment is in AAPL— More RSUs keep vesting, so the concentration only gets worse unless I actively sell.
Portfolio snapshot:
- AAPL Stock Plan: 58.3%
- Real Estate: 17.0%
- Brokerage (VTI, MSFT, NVDA, META, MU, gold…): 16.8%
- Bonds + Cash: ~5%
The brokerage is supposed to be diversification but it's nearly all tech too — so realistically ~69% of my NW is in one sector, zero international exposure.
My questions:
- How alarmed should I be at 61% single-stock? What's a realistic target %?
- How aggressively should I sell — steady drip each quarter, or rip the bandaid?
- Best place to redirect proceeds? Leaning VTI + VXUS + BND.
