I went to a consultation with an artist at a studio and initially liked his idea and put down a deposit and scheduled the appointment for about a month and half out. Its been a few days and I follow the studios social media page and have been gravitating towards a different artist there who I feel like will be a better fit. Nothing against the first artist, he specializes in color and wanted to add color to my tattoo but now I am not feeling doing color anymore and like this other girls art which is why I am considering the change. Also he isnt necessarily drawing anything new up, just wanted to add color to a previous tattoo. Question is, would it appropriate to reach out to the studio about switching artists? The studios website doesnt say anything about the deposit being "non-transferable" either. TIA!
