49 yr old brother
My brother has been diagnosed with an inoperable GBM in the thalamus area 3 weeks ago. He feels presure behind his right eye and all his right side has no strength and always feels tired.Biopsy done a 1.5 weeks ago and waiting for the results and plan going forward. We know they will start with radiation then chemo therapy.
This event has hit our family like a ton of bricks. We read about the statistics and it doesnt look good. We are in the unknown, how his system will handle the therapies, potential outcomes, and timelines.
Only thing we can do is take it day by day, knowing the direction we are heading. I'm sad for his wife , 2 teen daughters and our parents that will live this with him.
He cant work , hence no revenue. We are scrambling to put as much in order while he is responsive, as we know we will be entering tough times.
I sympathize with all of you and send love. We need to find the strength to support our loved ones during these difficult times.
