Please Help Guide Me Correctly!
Southern California Edison filed a civil lawsuit against me in California regarding an incident from around 2021–2022, where I was involved in losing control of my car and crashing into one of there electrical utility poles and damaging it. I recently learned about the case because a process server delivered the papers to people at an address where I no longer live. The documents were not handed to me personally, and the people who received them are not members of my household. I believe service may be improper. I do not have insurance and need help determining my response deadline and whether to file an Answer or a Motion to Quash Service.
