[Online][5e 2024][Wednesdays][CST][21+] Looking for 1-2 Player(s) for a Long-Term RP Focused Campaign
Hey everyone,
My name is Stubbii and I’m currently looking for 1-2 player(s) to join our long-term online D&D group as we wrap up our current campaign and prepare to start a new one shortly after.
We play a mix of 5e 2014 and 2024 rules — honestly, we usually end up leaning toward whichever version is cooler or more fun at the table. Rule of cool absolutely exists here, though obviously not without limits.
Game Info:
• Every other Wednesday
• 6 PM CST
• Sessions usually run 2–3 hours
• Online only
• Discord required
• Webcam required
• D&D Beyond for character sheets
• Dungeon Alchemist for immersive maps
• Google Docs for shared info/lore
Our group is heavily roleplay focused, but we still love meaningful combat. The campaign tone tends to balance serious storytelling with a lot of humor. Depending on player choices, themes can drift into war, political intrigue, grim consequences, chaos, stupidity, and everything in between.
Current group for the new campaign:
• Warlock
• Artificer
• Monk
We’re a mixed-experience table. Two of us are long-time players, while the others are newer but fully invested.
What we’re looking for:
• Someone reliable
• Someone comfortable roleplaying
• Someone invested in story and party cohesion
• Someone who can improv and bounce off the group well
• Someone who understands how to joke around without making things weird
We’re all adults and the humor can get crude at times, so preferably 21+. That said, the biggest thing for us is maturity. We want people who can communicate openly if something crosses a line without turning it into drama. The only hard no-go upfront is over-sexualizing other players or making people uncomfortable.
New players are absolutely welcome, but roleplay is a must.
Bonus points if you can do voices.
Before officially joining the campaign, I’d like potential additions to hang out with the group and probably run a one-shot together first just to make sure personalities mesh well. We care way more about table chemistry than optimizing builds.
If this sounds like your kind of chaos, DM me with a little info about yourself, your experience with D&D, and the kind of character/player you enjoy being at the table.
