Endocrinologists not accepting patients for Low T?

43m.... My primary care physician has diagnosed me with low T with my blood work being at 162 for my last test, which was a follow-up to the 195 test I had prior to that. I can go down the checklist with every single symptom and have been having these symptoms for about 3 years now. I have tried natural remedies, lifestyle changes, losing weight (which has become next to impossible in the past couple years) etc etc. Nothing is budging. Dr prescribed zepbound a while back .. Insurance wouldn't cover it, I paid out a pocket for a few months and it did absolutely nothing for me until I just simply couldn't afford it anymore.

I've worked out consistently for my entire adult life. Now I'm losing strength and muscle ... I just don't get a pump from a workout anymore. I don't even recognize myself in pictures from how I looked just a few years ago. I feel like I've gone from being 40 to 60 overnight. I'm not sleeping well, zero libido, feel like absolute garbage all the time, irritable, etc etc etc etc.

My doctor, in spite of telling me that he guarantees all of my problems are related to low T, doesn't want to touch TRT himself and referred me to an endocrinologist. The problem I am running into is that even with a referral, I am having a next to impossible time getting into one who will see me for testosterone issues. My doctor's office has referred me to at least 5 now. Once they find out the reason that I am getting sent to them is for testosterone, they tell me they are not accepting new patients for hormone replacement therapy. I've called the places up first and asked them if they're accepting new patients and they will say yes. Then once my doctor sends in the referral, they will either ghost me or call me back to say sorry but they can't see me. Only one place would see me, but they have nothing until next January... which is crazy because I was able to schedule an appointment for next month on their website, but then their office called me and were like " Sorry we actually can't see you until January." (This was in February... So they're telling me they're scheduled out 11 months even though their website has multiple available appointments). It's getting pretty frustrating.

I'm now considering using an online clinic, which my doctor has strongly cautioned me against doing. I guess I'm just at a loss here. Anybody else running into this? ... Endocrinologists refusing to see you once they get wind it's about testosterone?
