Crystals in DIY Rodinal

Hello,
I am new here and this is my first post, so thank and a pleasure to be here.
My first question is:

Does anybody else have an issue with lots of crystals and crystal clumps forming on the bottom of the bottle within a few days of mixing DIY Rodinal?

I use:
100g sodium sulfite
40g sodium hydroxide
30g paracetamol
distilled water to a total of 500cc

Also, a couple batches I have made ended up with a layer of extra fine powder (like 1/4" / 1cm thick) floating on top. Fine enough that it will go through coffee filters 3 times. And any ideas on how to avoid that, will be welcome. So far, getting it out with an eye dropper has been my way to deal with it, but it is an imperfect method, time consuming and developer wasting.

I do not DIY to save money, but because I want to.

I use Acetaminophen in the formula and crush it with a mortar and pestle, not an electric system, so how it becomes so fine a powder is a mystery to me.

Thank you all

fine grain developer

Hi,

I am in search of an easy-to-make-at-home fine grain developer.

Yes, I want a DIY recipe. So far, what I have been using is salts (which I am not happy with) and recently roDIYnal, but I am hoping to get either a way to get fine grain on my film with roDIYnal or another easy to make developer and solution/process if possible.
I normally use 100 ASA/ISO and 50 ASA/ISO. Can't remember the last time I used anything faster than 100.
Any help very welcome.

Brand new here

Hello, as the title says, I just joined. I am happy I found this group.

First, I would like to apologize if I make mistakes; my first language is not English. Please, be patient and kind.

I have had subminiature cameras for many years. About 30 years.
I have an almost full collection of Minolta 16s, Soviet 16 copies of Minoltas, A couple Mamiyas, like 7 Minox 8x11 including a lot of the attachments for the classic series and 5 Olympus Pen of different models.
Three of the cameras are not working as they should, but all in all, I am happy with my collection.
Thank you for receiving me in the group
