I sae there was a Scout 800b in Comanche Edition trim. I am seriously thinking about buying this game for that alone.
I owned one years ago, in that rare 1 of 1500 trim and miss it dearly. Does this game allow enough use of this Scout to justify the cost?
Ive been put of the Hi-Fi scene for years. Almost all my gear and records were stolen years ago and it was hard to want to start over. Especially because I got a lot of great gear for cheap. Now that same stuff is hard to find or expensive.
Luckily, the thieves didn't steal my turntable, a Marantz 6300 no less. It kept the dream alive.
Anyways, I had the turntable in storage for years until recently. Yesterday I found this cabinet and I figured it was now or never.
Current set-up:
Turntable- Marantz 6300
Amplifier- Onkyo A-7 integrated.
Speakers- Zenith Allegro 3000s
Sounds good enough. The speakers are the limiter right now. Ive got a damaged set of Marantz hd770s and some damaged JBL 3100s...gotta get parts or find speakers cheap. The Zeniths are surprisingly decent for what they are.
I like finding great deals, this was a budget set up to the core.
The total cost of everything in this picture was under $200. The Onkyo A-7 was $5 at a bulk goodwill in the bottom of a bin. It needs a new light and a knob but after a little cleaning functions very well. Sounds very good, deep and rich.
