Hello. I am glad I found this subreddit. I am an Electrical Engineer with around 9 years of experience in the energy industry. I am planning on taking the OMSA program. I have a few questions and I apologise if these have been answered already.

1. Is this program useful for someone in the energy industry? Most of my work is focused on energy analytics and there has been an increasing demand in the industry for people who understands probability, ML, etc.

2. How important is knowing programming? I took a course by Angela Yu for the basics but I wont say I am very comfortable.
