Apretude Side Effects / allergic reactions
I’ve been reading a lot about the side effects other people have experienced, but after my second injection, I developed severe daily hives. I’ve also been having intermittent breathing issues that feel like asthma attacks every single day.
It’s been five months since my last injection, and I’m still dealing with these side effects. The hives are not as severe as they were a few months ago, but the breathing problems have persisted. I have to carry an inhaler everywhere I go. I can’t exercise without becoming short of breath and feeling like I can’t breathe.
I’ve had to go to the emergency room three times because of my breathing issues. It has scared the hell out of me. I never had any of these problems before taking the injections.
I did not start 2026 well at all with this drug. It has severely impacted my well being. Based on my experience, it simply was not worth it. I never had problems when I was on the pill.
Now I have to wait for this medication to fully leave my system, which apparently can take up to 12 months or longer. I just hope it did not trigger a permanent case of asthma, because I am a marathon runner and I love to swim, and this has completely affected my ability to do both.
