I’ve been on Lexapro for the last few months. I d say about six months and I have been experiencing progressively worse fatigue as I go up in the dosage. I am at a point where I am so lethargic that I have a hard time getting stuff done during the day. Lexapro has helped my mood, but it’s been so long that I’ve been on it that I don’t think the fatigue is going to leave and I was wondering if anyone else had the same experience or any advice. When I told my psychiatrist about this, she increased my dosage and recommended Wellbutrin however, when I was on Wellbutrin alone in the past, I felt extremely irritable so I don’t know if this would be a good idea. I’m at a point where I’m just considering getting off the antidepressants because I feel like it might be causing just as much harm as my depression and anxiety. Yes I am experiencing less symptoms but the fatigue is so bad I might as well just be depressed.
