Well Syracuse, I guess the DOT read our complaints about the Brighton Street traffic circles. I drove through today and Signs are now up!! Lol, now let's hope people can read them! A Reddit success!!!

Okay, the DOT is absolutely hellbent on putting traffic circles everywhere. Im sure they have all sorts of engineering and math to back up their idea. My issue is that it seems so few people understand how to navigate them.
I see this every day at the double Brighton Ave traffic circle. Its insane. Im surprised we dont have had more accidents and serious road rage issues. Examples I see every DAMN day:
Getting off 481 south to Brighton, there are 2 lanes: a right hand turn lane to turn onto Brighton and a left hand lane that continues into the traffic circle. However, drivers in the right turn lane suddenly figure out they want to go into the circle and instead of waiting for the drivers in the correct left lane to enter, they bolt out in front of those drivers, going into their lane instead of taking the right. I almost plowed some twit in a truck this morning that pulled that crap. Im sure your company would have been a bit annoyed if I damaged their pretty little truck because you slammed into me from the wrong lane!
Going up Brighton/East Senaca turnpike to Jamesville is ANOTHER traffic circle. (Who came up with that insane idea??!!). Something I see WAY too often is people not realizing "stay to the right". People will get to it and go LEFT to turn on to Rock cut road. This puts them into on coming traffic on the WRONG side of the road. Please just continue around the circle and make a right at your exit!! Head on collisions SUCK.
Im sure incidents like this are happening at every one of these little roadway nightmares. Please learn to navigate them!
Reduce road rage. Straighten up and drive right!
