Look, I get it. Updates have been slow, the fandom is as toxic as Chernobyl, and some questionable decisions have been made for the game. But honestly I may be biased, but I think Qwel is an amazing and creative person, and that people are being way too rough on her and her game.

Do I think she’s perfect? No. But she’s a human being, and they’re inherently flawed. Unlike a lot of creators, she takes the time to figure out the biggest problems. Most of why the game is being updated slowly is because she and the programmers are working on coding for Twisteds and keeping the game going long term. It makes me sad to see so much hate for her when she’s looking out for the game’s best interest. She cares so much for this game and its community, and seeing everyone treat her like she’s a monster really sucks.

I’ll also say that skins are NOT slowing down the game’s development. There is a large difference between the programmers and the skin creators. The skins are completely optional, people don’t have to feel like they must chase every skin. Most of them I think are cool.

I really like the concept of Toon of the Week. I just wish Sprout’s didn’t take place so suddenly, but that’s a personal thing. I like the concept, and the gold skin is really cool to me. And yes, maybe the events can be a little repetitive, but I appreciate the team taking the time to add new things, like skins, a new floor, ice floors/spring fever, and lore.

Do I think the game could be better? Yes. Do I want more focus on lore than anything else? Also yes. But words cannot describe how much this game means to me. I love the idea, the characters, the lore, all of it. I’ve been so hyperfixated on it for so long. It’s fine to have criticism with the game. I certainly have my own notes, but to see so many people attacking the devs and making the same videos about how the game sucks over and over makes me sad.

I love this game and I’m excited for more content. What about you guys, do you all still care about the game?
