This wasp visited my yard in Portland, OR today (4/30). I saw a similar one nearby a few weeks ago. iNaturalist keeps identifying it as most likely a Metric Paper Wasp (Polistes metricus)

But from what I can tell from the rest of the internet, we don’t have those here in Oregon. Just wondering if someone here can ID it?

This wasp visited my yard in Portland, Oregon today (4/30). I saw a similar one nearby a couple weeks ago. iNaturalist thinks it’s a Metric Paper Wasp (Polistes metricus) but the rest of the internet says we don’t have those here in Oregon. Can anyone help with an ID? Thanks!
