Not an expert but I did install it and did my research each step along the way.

Recently my music stopped working. Sometimes I connect to the Bluetooth and it works again.

D4S JP84

Skar rca cables from head unit to the amplifier

OFC wiring

Running 4 channels to 4 Rockford Fosgates P1683 130watt 6x8 3 way.

Used ferrules

Multimeter says

Battery is less than a year old

No inline fuses out

Getting 14v to the amplifier

Ground was a little funky but sanded and reattached to sanded bare metal. Still getting a solid

Remote wire is giving a reading

Amplifier is in protect mode.

Tried disconnecting everything and reconnecting after 30 min - protect

Disconnected speakers and inputs leaving power ground and remote - protect

Might have been on the wrong setting but didn’t feel like I was getting a signal from head unit to inputs.

All rca and speaker wires passed continuity check.

I’m down to either a bad amp or head unit not giving signal any easy way to check. I do not have another amp to check with. And thoughts. Why sometimes yes and then no?

When I started looking into it, it’s played for over 1hr no problem then went out again.

I’m stumped
