Hi everyone, I've had my iPhone 12 for the last few years. I absolutely don't wanna switch phones, it's an amazing device and it's crazy how well it still works given its age.

My earpiece speaker stopped working about a year and a half ago, I read about the replacement program (for which it would have been eligible, since it was produced in the period they specified). This was right after the program had ended and my Apple store said that I'd have to pay and get the whole screen replaced (250€).

This is a known defect on their end so it sucks that I have to pay that much. So my question is: is there anyone who had any luck replacing it even after the program's end for free?
