Hi guys! I dont post on Reddit much, but i wanted to get some advice from yall :)

Like post says I just finished my 4th week and got my new uniform 🥳

I feel like im starting to kinda get the hang of it? Ive always loved working fast paced, but before CFA I worked at a sandwich shop. So while similarish, theres been a lot of new things to learn and it feels very overwhelming sometimes. Im just wondering if anyone has any tips or advice, something they wish they knew when starting out. I mostly work opening shifts until the afternoon.

I feel like im pretty good with keeping things stocked and calling for drops and macs in ovens, keeping ahead of those, but I struggle to keep the chute filled during rushes. Sometimes ill be working secondary (nuggets/strips salads/mac) and ill be alone and I just get so overwhelmed I feel like im drowning. I dont want to bother coworkers to help me cause I dont want them to fall behind, but I dont want orders to get backed up either.

Is it normal to be able to run secondary solo? It only happens rarely, multiple call offs, but i want to know if its a realistic goal to set for myself to be able to do if necessary?

Sorry for the rambling, appreciate if you read 🫶 please don't tell me to leave, I love working in food service and I wanna give it 3 months at least lol
