I've been having migraines since I was probably 10 or so, but I don't meet many other people who also have migraines, so I thought I'd try and find a group to ask.

Not much helps my migraines in the moment. I've got a little routine when they come on (I get auras beforehand as a sort of warning) that can sort of help if it's a minor one, but for extra bad days, there's not really anything I can do.

My biggest grievance (other than y'know, them being freaking annoying and ruining my day, haha) is that on bad days, I almost ALWAYS end up throwing up. Like, without fail, minimum 1-2 times per migraine. I haven't heard of this before, but again, I don't meet many other severe migraine havers, so I'm not sure. Is this normal? Is it pain-related, migraine-related, or just my body being weird?

Mostly just looking for others' experiences, obviously, I know Reddit is not a medical professional, haha. (Note: my doctor doesn't really seem to care about my migraines, so I'm in the process of finding someone new, hence part of why I'm asking here)

Thanks :]
