I’ve received DLA then PIP since 2011. Last review was 2019 and awarded to 2025. This was extended due to Covid until 11 June 2026. I received my review forms in July and the DWP received them back then confirmed by text on 4 August. The only contact I have had since then is the obligatory text message every 3 months saying that they still have my forms and will progress with my review as soon as they can. I have read that if the review is not done by the month before the award end date that it is extended for 12 months so I’m presuming with it now being the 4th of May that this will end up happening? Would I get a letter confirming this? I would need a physical letter to allow my disabled persons travel pass to be renewed as it also expires on the 11 June, and whilst I don’t actually leave the house much these days, it is a lifeline for those occasions where I do need to.
