Hello, idk maybe if this is relevant but basically I'm going to do job hunting very soon (already did some but those were online). I wanted to know whether black if the only appropriate hair color for shukatsu. I'm a sounth Asian woman and I currently have red hair (on the ends) and but natural hair color itself is brown. However I will dye my hair before my inperson interviews and I wanted to do a natural looking brown color. Will that be a demerit?

Hi everyone, I know this topic comes up a lot, but I’m hoping to get some advice that actually applies to my situation.

Most of the “dark underarms” posts I see show a before/after where the skin looks smooth—just a bit darker than the surrounding area. Mine is different. The skin is much darker, has noticeable texture, and even looks a bit cracked.

I’m in my mid-20s and I’ve honestly never felt comfortable wearing sleeveless tops because of this. It’s something I’m really insecure about.

I’ve already tried things like glycolic acid and other exfoliating products, but nothing has made any noticeable difference. I’ve also seen mixed advice about shaving and waxing, and I’m currently avoiding laser hair removal since it’s not affordable for me right now.

I’m trying to be gentle with my skin and avoid anything too harsh, but I’m feeling stuck. If anyone has dealt with something similar or has suggestions that actually worked for textured, darker underarms—not just mild pigmentation—I would really appreciate your help.

Thank you so much in advance.
