Anyone else get confused by Tesla’s Bluetooth call mute behavior? 😵‍💫

Anyone else get confused by Tesla’s Bluetooth call mute behavior? 😵‍💫

When I’m on a phone call connected through Bluetooth, both my iPhone and the Tesla screen show separate mute buttons. Sometimes one says muted while the other doesn’t, and I end up tapping both trying to figure out why nobody can hear me 😂

I can even have one muted while the other appears unmuted, which makes it super confusing while driving 🫨

For example, I might mute from the Tesla screen, but my iPhone still looks unmuted — or vice versa. Then I have no idea which one actually controls the microphone.

Are these controls stacked together somehow, or is this just normal Tesla Bluetooth behavior? Curious if I’m missing something.

Not sure if I’m overthinking this, but wanted to check with the community.

When I park my Model Y facing direct sunlight (sun hitting the windshield), I notice these random blue light/reflection spots inside the front camera housing (see pics).

- Only happens in strong sunlight
- Doesn’t show at night or when parked facing the opposite direction
- Looks like internal reflection or something on/inside the housing

About 2 months ago, Tesla service cleaned the front windshield camera area due to visibility issues (FSD warning).

So now I’m wondering:

- Could that cleaning have left residue or caused this?
- Or is this just normal lens reflection / glare behavior?

FSD seems to be working fine right now, no alerts.

Questions:

  1. Has anyone else seen this before?
  2. Is this expected optical reflection or something to worry about?
  3. Worth opening a service ticket or ignore unless performance drops?

Would really appreciate input before I go down the service center rabbit hole 😅
