Listening to a podcast episode today examining AI chatbots engaging in cult-like conversational tactics to perpetuate engagement. Apparently there's a group of posters somewhere on Reddit seemingly engaged in group AI psychosis that has all the hallmarks of a cult, and refer to themselves sometimes as "Spiralists", and regularly reference glyphs and spirals. Is it a BLACK spiral bychance? 😬

These are an unknown variety, likely wild type, from a local native plant nursery. Planted last year in zone 8b, believed to be 3 years old? One of the two has this leaf discoloration, one does not. No signs of pest pressure, but up until the last couple of days, we were in fairly brutal drought conditions.
