In your experience, how difficult is it to detect a mild case of mange - particularly in dogs with longstanding skin issues that could be comorbid or part of the differential (e.g., allergies, chronic dry skin)? What factors help differentiate mange from these other conditions? I’m wondering whether this diagnosis is commonly missed until it becomes more severe.
