A couple years ago, a started venlafaxina and its really good for me for the most part, it makes me feel like a whole different person even if the side effects are pretty crazy. My psychiatrist the prescribed me bupropion to take along with it since I struggle with anxiety, procrastination and motivation issues (tho, she only said it would help the anxiety issue at the time-or at least thats what I understood then). After a few months of me accidentally missing doses because I wasnt used to taking them at night like recommended, I felt no changes (duh past me was an idiot) and stopped taking it. I spoke to my psychiatrist about my lack of motivation again and she told me that was what the bupropion was for and we could try it again but I hesitated a bit. Venlafaxina is already so strong, do I really want to add something else to the mix? Would it even help when velafaxina didnt?
Does anyone have any experience taking these two together and can weigh in? How did you feel? Did they help or hinder?
