Hey guys I need your help…

I am on Version 8.01 currently and the website says that’s the LATEST ONE.

MY MB model is the “B760M-C/D4” by AsRock

I found an update for the “B760M-C” and it says the most recent is Version 11.02.

NOW BEFORE I ACCIDENTALLY DO SOMETHING DUMB PLEASE HELP 😅

*B760M-C/D4 - current Motherboard v8.01

*B760M-C - This is the closest MB to my model that has a Version beyond 8.01

SO MY QUESTION IS…

They both use the same chipset but one uses DDR5 and the other DDR4.. (idk if that even matters or not).

-is memory type even relevant to the BIOS update??
-Will it cause incompatibilities? Death???
-is it safe to Update???
