I’ve applied to an internal role multiple times that another colleague on my team moved to. Have been rejected each time. My colleague has an almost identical background to me and the internal role is very similar to what I do now but work life balance is exponentially better and management is more flexible.

When I interviewed for the role, it was emphasized that they received 300+ applicants. This isn’t surprising to me but I sincerely feel that I would be one of the best candidates for this role. I even asked if there was anything that would deter them from considering me for this role, and they said no just the applicant pool is vast. Is there anything I can say to be more convincing?

Hi all,
I am not a PA, but a clinical pharmacist. I’m looking into changing careers. I’m just wondering how the job market is currently for flexible PA job options-especially part time or remote. I work full time currently and part time options for non-retail pharmacy roles are non existent or only exist for evening hours which don’t work for me. I’m a working mom of 3 and not interested in full time work for a long while.

Could anyone give me an idea of what’s available? What do you find is the most flexible specialty in terms of schedule? Thank you!
