I've been working with / learning Tarot for a couple of months, really enjoying it and feeling connected to my deck (RWS), and feeling my intuition and readings are strong (only reading for myself).

I try not to get too caught up in super-specific tarot advise I read (face South by Southeast, use an X color of cloth, but not a Y color, etc) because I want to keep my Tarot work enjoyable, intuitive, and simple enough to do daily.

However, I recently came across some guidance about hands: "the left hand is the 'hand of fate'" and "the right hand is the something or other...", and this included guidance about "deal / pull the cards with the left hand, but flip them with the right" or similar...

TL;DR : how much "weight" do you put into which hand does what action or gesture? should i build a certain muscle memory around this as a newbie?

PS: getting into Tarot HAS made me more connected to my hands, such that I recently did "henna capping" on my fingertips because the desire to henna my hands came through during a reading. Henna is a traditional spiritual and decorative practice in Indian and other cultures; I don't belong to those cultures but i do find the application and wearing of henna to have a spiritual component for me.

Since working with Tarot, I've also started Henna \"Capping\" on fingertips; this is about 12 hours after application, once the stain has darkened.
