I recently came across the Dungeon Crawler Carl TRPG and the board game, and I've been on the fence about backing them. In my research I've read about people saying the campaign is predatory and it completely ignores the main theme of DCC. The campaign sure enough has a lot of stuff that is not needed for gameplay and are just fluff content. But I'm a sucker for unique themed TRPG and that board game looks very promising. So my question is: what is your opinion about them, and should we support them if it goes against the book?
