I just got a fresh from the box Samsung tab s8 from ebay after using samsung tab s6 (2019) for almost 5 years now. and since s6 stopped updating after android 12, its a delight to have my new tablet the same OS version.
But what I didnt know is that this tablet can actually go up until the latest version of android, so Im in the limbo if I should update my tablet to the latest version, or should just stick into android 12 (oneui 4) cuz.... im kinda worried that my tablet would have noticeable software and battery issues if I went with the updates.
So if anyone has samsung tab s8, or an expert regarding this, can I ask if:
---Is your tablet updated in the latest version?
---did you experience some issues so far that made you regret updating?
---has the battery improved? or has it significantly been draining quicker pre update?
---is the newest version compatible with tab s8? or is it really just for the recent tab S lineup (S9-S11)?
thank you for answering in advance! i get anxious when updating to a new version cuz theres no going back, so I dont want to regret updating and bricking my device in the process (just like my laptop with windows 11)
