Hi everyone, I'm working on this game and I've just finished building my 2nd prototype for the game, and uploaded it on Itch.io, and I'm looking for testers to validate my current design direction regarding the roguelike aspect.

Longer description: Overgrown (wip name) is a roguelike game where you play as an alchemist growing different plants and brewing potions to complete orders.
You play through increasingly difficult days (2 minutes each), between them you have a night phase where you can spend a currency (research) to buy upgrades that make you more powerful for the coming days.

What I'm trying to learn: I'm mainly looking for feedback in regards to the new Research point system I put in place, the one that enables you to get upgrades that stay for the rest of the run and make you more powerful.

Right now you have on the one hand orders that you need to fullfil, but you can also sacrifice what you create at a research station that will get you those research points to spend during the night phase. This duality as for what to do with what you create is what I would like feedback on.

How to give feedback: The game has a link in-game for a google form, and you will find one on the game's page as well.

Thank you!
