My players are new to DnD, and because of that they have a hard time choosing a course of action and they spend a lot of time just standing around, and because of that they don't get a lot done in the few and rare sessions we mamage to play. Would I be removing their agency if i layed out choices they could take, such as, imagine they are planning on entering a room they know is guarded by enemies, would it be a good idea for me to say "You could open the door just slightly to see the layout of the room." Or "You could look for another way to enter the room."?
