I'm under salary sacrifice, and I have a doubt about how to compute the money paid in the pension during the past tax year.

The last payment was deducted from my March payroll (end March so falling in the previous tax year), but is shown on my pension provider as received on 17-April (current tax year).

Which date should I consider? I need this info to compute if I howe any amount to hrmc.
