Devy Player Tracking: Devy players will count against roster total and be represented in the form of kickers on league rosters. Devy players must remain either in your kicker slot or on your bench. They cannot be placed on the TAXI even if the kicker is TAXI-eligible. Devy players are eligible for trade. The commissioner will maintain a spreadsheet tracking leaguewide devy selections and the spreadsheet will be readily available for viewing within the sleeper chat pins.
Devy Pool: There will be a limit of 24 general pool devy players (average of 2 per team). Teams may only acquire Devy players during the annual Rookie/Devy drafts or via trade. A team can select any number of Devy players until the league-wide limit of 24 players is reached. The commissioner will maintain a google sheet that tracks Deby selections and will add the players to the owner’s team once they become available in Sleeper’s player database. Once a devy player is selected, FYI, they cannot be dropped. They must be maintained on a league roster until they enter the database or leave college football.
Wildcard Devy Players: The winner of the consultation bracket each year will earn the right toward an additional Devy player selection; this means that they can elect to select a Devy player who will not count toward the league-wide total of 24 in either current or future drafts. For administrative purposes if multiple devy players are selected by the Wildcard Devy owner, they will need to confirm who they are designating as the Wildcard Devy player. Wildcard Devy Player rights can be traded. If prior or during the draft, both commissioners must confirm in chat that the rights are being traded. If post-draft, this will be represented by the kicker player being rostered as wildcard devy players maintain wildcard status (ie: they can be traded just as any other devy player can be, they just continue to not count toward the total).
