I need some advice. I’m really struggling with this Situation I have over $50,000 in debt. I went to my lawyer today and I cant file chap 7 cause we( me and my wife) go over 97k a year(FLORIDA) but I can’t afford chap 13. Which I would have to pay over $900 a month. There is no way I can’t afford that I’m the one who pays for everything. Rent, utilities insurances. Food. Only payment we make together is the car which is under my name but I don’t use we do 50/50 here. My wife salary is less than $900 biweekly which she does save much cause she pays her credit cards + $500 for the car, and also sends money to her mom who has cancer overseas and basically my wife is the only support her family got. I don’t really now what to do. I’m struggling mentally thinking a lot of options. Is divorcing a good solution that way they only use my income and not both. I made less than $65k a year. We are a household of 3 including our son.
