Hi, I'm currently taking 8.75mg from 15mg pen. I'm almost at target and plan to stay on the sane dose for a while and then start to VERY SLOWLY try and titrate down. If I stop ordering and use up the pens I have, that would give me a break of over 6 months.
I know they'll prescribe me at 2.5mg initially but my questions are :
Should I have a maintenance call with them now?
Wait and do it when I restart, assuming they would prescribe if I'm within the 12 month window?
Should I buy at least 1 pen from them as my last pen purchased now, before taking the ,"break" thats not really a break, while I try and titrate down and use the pens I have?
I plan on being on this medication for life so I don't want to leave myself stuck. Any pointers would be most appreciated. Thanks
