Involuntary separation pay
I got an involuntary separation from the military in 2000. I filed 2024 got 70%, they open a claim for my separation pay after month they closed it no debt. Then I got 90% and in the claim letter letter it says I'm going to owe 10,000 for separation pay. I called to pay and the VA says no debt. Then I did an HLR for other claims, during the wait time. They opened an other claim for the 10,000. I got awarded 100 p&t. They closed all claims and still I have no debt and they didn't take it from my back pay. Does anyone know about separation pay and debt? Since it was involuntary is that why they aren't taking it back? Like I've said I've called the VA multiple times and there is never debt or a claims letter for the repayment claims they have opened.
