Half life 2 on the Ayn Thor via Gamenative
Hi guys,
It’s been over a month since I’m enjoying the beast.
So far, it’s been really great. I took 3 flights and it is really the best companion that you can have (with the AirPods Max and usbc to jack).
I wanted to make this post to let you (half life fans ^^) know that Half Life 2 runs really great on the Thor via Gamenative.
Even the controller issue is solved now.
Here is my settings :
- running Half Life 2 (steam edition)
- Gamenative 0.9.2
- latest MrPurple T28 (via manual addition in Gamenative settings)
I solved the controller issue by :
- turning on “steam input” in controller tab that you can find in the container settings
Checking this will only give you movement and actions control. The camera is still broken.
- I fixed the camera by putting my right joystick as a mouse control (you need to launch HL2 and open Gamenative tab on the left of the screen. There, you can edit physical controller settings -> put right joystick as a mouse, and here we go, we can move the camera with the right joystick).
I don’t know if this showcase has already been made, but I saw Grave’s video on YouTube and he uses a so much complex way to make it work.
This is quite easy with using Gamenative.
