Firstpost — content idea generator for creators who don't know what to post

What it is: A tool that generates 8 content ideas with full scripts, hooks and shot-by-shot filming guides based on your niche, platform and tone. You can save ideas, refresh ones you don't like and copy all hashtags in one click.

Who it's for: TikTok, YouTube and Instagram creators who spend way too long figuring out what to post and end up not posting anything.

What I need help with: Does the output actually feel useful — like something youd come back to? Is anything confusing or missing?

Feedback I'm looking for: is the idea quality good enough? Does the script feel natural or too AI-ish? Is the filming guide actually helpful or still too vague? Be as harsh as you want. I want to know whats actually wrong with it so i can improve it as much as humanly possible.

Roast my first ever project — Firstpost, a content idea generator for creators

i built this a week ago with zero experience. its called Firstpost. you pick your niche, platform and tone and get 8 content ideas each with a full script, hook and filming guide ready to shoot.

dont like an idea? refresh it and get a new one. like one? save it. it stays even after you close the tab. need all the hashtags at once? one click and you got them. the filming guide doesnt just say "point your camera and talk" it actually tells you what to film, what angle to use and what to cut between.

it already got called "trash" and "useless" on reddit this week. maybe they're right. i genuinely dont know. thats why im here and i genuinely want to improve it as much as possible.

be as brutal as you want. check my profile to find it.

Firstpost is my first ever project — a week in and it actually works

i had no idea what to build so i built something i actually needed. i used to sit there for 2 hours trying to figure out what to post on youtube shorts and just never posting anything.

so firstpost lets you pick your niche, platform and tone and spits out 8 content ideas. each one comes with a full script, a hook and a filming guide that actually tells you what to do and not just 'point your camera and talk.' you can save the ones you like and they stay even if you close the tab. dont like one? refresh it. need all the hashtags at once? one click.

ive been improving it every day since i posted it here last week. the scripts are way more specific now, the ideas arent generic anymore and the filming guides actually make sense.

zero experience before this. check my profile if you want to try it. be as harsh as you want.

honestly i got so tired of staring at a blank screen every time i had to come up with something for youtube shorts. not even the video itself — just figuring out what to post about was killing me.

so i built Firstpost. you put in your niche, pick your platform and tone, and it gives you 8 ideas with full scripts, hooks and filming guides. don't like one? refresh it. like one? save it. need the hashtags? one click.

made it two days ago with zero experience. would love to know what's broken or missing — be as harsh as you want.

link in my bio if you wanna try it.

I used to spend 2 hours trying to figure out what to post on YouTube Shorts and it was killing me. So I built something to fix it.

You pick your niche, platform and tone, Firstpost gives you 8 content ideas each with a full script, hook, and filming guide ready to shoot. Save the ones you like, refresh the ones you don't, copy all hashtags in one click.

Built it in two days with no experience. Still improving it.

Free for now. Link in my profile bio.

I kept running out of ideas for what to post. Not just the topic — the angle, the hook, the actual structure. So I built something to solve it.

You tell Firstpost your niche (e.g. fitness, history, cooking), pick your platform (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, etc.) and tone, and it generates 8 ready-to-use ideas — each with a title, a hook line, and a full breakdown so you can actually go shoot it.

I made it for myself first, then figured other creators might find it useful too.

Honest feedback very welcome — especially if something feels off or missing.
