I’m trying to get more serious about outage prep this year, so I picked up an anker f3800 plus as a larger battery backup unit for the house.
Now I’m thinking less about the unit itself and more about the rest of the setup. My goal is just keep the important stuff going without wasting power.
Top priorities are fridge, internet, lights, charging, and maybe a few small quality-of-life things.
What supporting gear would you add first? Better cords, transfer switch/interlock, solar panels, lamps, fans, cooking backup, etc.?
Would also be curious what 3 loads you always prioritize first during a storm outage.
