It is concerning to see how some individuals who are recognized for humanitarian efforts present their work on social media. While community service deserves acknowledgment, there should also be a strong commitment to dignity, ethics, and respect for privacy.
Publicly posting identifiable images of beneficiaries, especially those in vulnerable situations, raises serious questions about consent and data privacy. Acts of service should uplift individuals without compromising their dignity or exposing them unnecessarily for publicity.
Humanitarian work is not only measured by visibility, but by integrity and respect for the people being served. Hopefully, greater awareness and accountability will encourage more responsible and ethical sharing practices moving forward.
check the social media of Ivy Lucas (I doubt that this is the only issue here, I also heard something about the student who dropped out because of her activities)
