Anyone who would recommend strong bitter matcha powder lattes? Obviously I’m not looking for super high quality as i am in a budget.
Preferably around the price range of 20PHP per gram?
- Ive used 4g of matcha powder (I bought it from Matcha Bar in Makati which is known for their high quality, imported matcha)
- around 5g of warm water (To make it into a paste)
- then around 40g of warm water for whisking
- then 70g of milk
In total around 45g of water, and 70g of milk + 2 ice cubes and my drink tastes so not like the stores such as Matcha lab, and matcha tokyo?
Most even reccomend 90+ml of milk yet mines only 70 and its already so matabang !!
Moreover, ive been whisking for around 5 minutes+ and i dont know if its my technique (Probably) but it wont foam !. Nevertheless even if it foams I reckon itll still tastes watery.
