Not sure if this is the right place but curious if I’m just buggin or this is a thing.
My company has a sizable online presence and influence in a very small state. Another company, in a similar sector, reached out asking to meet and discuss repurposing our content for their own social media and promotion.
My first thought was Huh…..that’s a hell no. One because it cost us a ton of money to create, two they were not part of the original project in any capacity, and three the project was sponsored by a tourism board. We have full ownership of the content but still.
Is there a world in which this is a thing and I am not privy to it?
