Applying to Stanford GSB This Year? Free Essay Session

If you’re applying to Stanford GSB this year, I’m hosting a free session this week on what Stanford is actually evaluating in “What matters most to you, and why?” and the “Why Stanford?” essay.

A lot of advice online focuses on sounding impressive or “authentic” in a very vague way. I’ll mostly be talking about:

  • why strong applicants still miss the mark
  • what Stanford tends to respond to psychologically
  • weak vs strong essay directions
  • and how Stanford’s culture differs from schools like HBS

For context, I’m a former MBA admissions director and work primarily with MBA applicants applying to M-7 schoold

Happy to answer questions live as well.
