Guys running the cage kits front tube chassis, what did you do for your front bash bar? I’ve yet to mount mine but looking into things in prep for the weekend. As far as I can tell the oem mounting points for the factory bash bar/ bumper retainer get cut off. I could be wrong. Assuming it does do other mounts have to be fabbed?
Finally pulled the trigger on the cage kits front end. It was very easy to put together, 3-4 slightly misaligned mounting points but nothing too crazy. Will be cutting out the front section in a week or so. Meanwhile I’m sourcing a 1UZ to throw in. After blowing up my KA I decided to go with a gnarly tubo 1UZ build. I’m a V8 guy at heart but looking to keep it jdm. Plus the 1UZ set up correctly sounds like an LS and coyote had a love child.
