Think I have my perfect 2 car garage!
I've just taken delivery of a (worse for wear) Mk1 rav4 Manual to go with my NA MX5.
Brought it sight unseen for $3k (bargain!) - from my first once over it looks pretty good from a rust standpoint minus some on the bonnet where the clear coat has peeled.
Very happy!
Today is first day of work on it, deep clean and see if I can bring some of the paint back to life.
Tomorrow, I will tackle the bonnet. Just a first attempt to get it somewhat presentable before i sand back to metal and respray.
Any favourite products for a temp fix? - heading to Supercheap later.
It will take a while to get roadworthy and baseline maintenance but would be nice to have it looking half decent.
Will be restoring to OEM spec I think.
Also let me know your ideal 2 car garage - I'm from the UK so have had to do digging to find cool stuff in the AU market.
