I didn't see anyone talk about this here yet but I wonder what led to them casting younger actors instead of what was originally scripted. There are a lot of actors within that age bracket in the industry. Also even if they changed the ages, they could still have cast an actor who's not a minor for Javeria.

If not, and they just had to change the time lapse, both Meesam and Umera could have atleast sat together and discussed about how to modify the story with the age change. They could've introduced another plot point instead of Javeria's wedding to achieve the same storytelling or messaging.

This just shows poor planning and execution by the team.

When I read this, I thought these pics are from the nikkah coz of the velvet jora and shawl but again kashmiri churiya weren't a thing back then. Also I remembered Khushal's castmate Shah shared a pic from the shalima which looked to have same bg as the pic in their stories.

So yeah...
