Vestibular Migraines??? I need some help!!

Hello everyone!

My name is Chris I’m 19 and have been suffering with these attacks for about 8 years I would say now. I’m really getting tired of it and it’s just so annoying.

A little history about me, I have Osteopenia and high blood pressure.

So the first time I had one I believe I was 12 and I was laying in bed and I had stood up to go and pee and was standing at the toilet and all of a sudden I had this unsettling feeling, got super hot, and dizzy. And I thought “Woah, what is this!” Of course I didn’t say anything to my parents because you don’t really think of anything then. About a few months after that, I had another attack. (Something to add in, I guess I just didn’t pay attention to the “warning signs” when I was younger). Well between these times I would get this short dizzy feelings every know and again but I didn’t have these FULL ON ATTACKS as frequently. Well I believe a couple years had passed I was 14-15 and boom it hit again. Horrible spell just so so so dizzy, floating, and hot. So again a year or so passes by but at this time I’m driving. I was in the highway and all of sudden just BOOM, it hit me I thought I was going to die. It was the worst one I had EVER had in my life. (I hope to god I never have one like that ever again). I literally was so dizzy and scared. I was just shaking all over my body. Thankfully I got pulled over and it passed eventually about 10 minutes later. I guess I should also add, I do experience a lot of fatigue after these “attacks.” Well let’s move on another year or so and me and my mom had just got back from Nashville about two days later after being back home had another horrible dizzy spell, hotness, forgot to mention a feeling of fainting, but never have. Well, since then I haven’t had another one. I’ve had you know the small little dizzy attacks where I feel dizzy for a couple of seconds or just unsteady like I’m swaying and my doctor put me on hydroxyzine and it goes away after about 30 minutes. Well fast forward to this week and I guess I’ve paid attention more to the warning signs this time. Because I have developed a horrible health anxiety within the past couple of years. This week I have had a headache over the eyebrow of my left eye and some pain in the middle back of my head. I took some Tylenol and it subsided a couple of days ago. Well fast forward to today and I have another full-blown attack today. Horrible anxiety really hot. It felt like the air couldn’t come fast enough out of my car super dizzy feeling like I’m gonna faint every bump I hit in the road it felt like I couldn’t get pulled over quick enough. I’ve had a discussion with this about my doctor not particularly vestibular migraines but the dizziness stuff and he told me that it’s probably nothing serious if it’s been going on for eight years and nothing has happened. He told me that pretty much rules out anything serious. And I didn’t bring it up again because it didn’t really affect me for a while. I just wanna know. Do you all think this might be something I should bring up with my doctor about vestibular migraines? I’ve been watching a ton of videos and it feels like when I get these it aligns with every symptom almost but from what I can remember, this is my first time having a headache associated with it.

Thank you all so much!
