Saw I believe parts of this movie a long time ago on TV, maybe 2008 or so. The setting is medieval Europe and a blond haired man speaks out against the local lord (I believe in the form of a play.) The blond man is stabbed by the noble to death who I think also licks his blood. The noble is later killed by a mob I believe and strung up on the castle walls

Look, there's being shy and then there's being unable to function as a human being. As an introvert myself these characters are irritating particularly as it leads me to believe this is what people understand shy people to be like. I've never met anyone so shy that they emotionally melt into a puddle the second their crush so much as says "hi."

I know that Hinata at least gets some development and (somewhat) grows into an actual character, but Komi is this trope turned up to 11.

This whole shtick gets real old real fast and any cuteness factor quickly turns into annoyance. If someone had a crush on me and acted like this I would just be annoyed and not want anything to do with them.
