I’m not really like a bad person in real life,but in video games or calls,I help a lotta people who are very depressed and make their day. it makes me think why people online tend to be more nicer than others in real life. Consider if you are a very sad person and you receive help from an online gaming friend who is very positive and overall a nice person in your chat together. Your mood would be better. However that person may not be the same as you and is also depressed.

Even if a person knows the other—who is comforting them,they may be absolute garbage people outside but they are pretending to be nice and it actually makes your day happier.I makes me think that people going online for comfort is actually a pretty nice thing. As people would act as their perfect self and actually do nice things.

It also shows how bad people are in real life,as some people really can’t find any help but somehow find comfort to talking with random online strangers:)
