Hi,

I’m into import of fresh exotic fruits in India and have done a few shipments. I’ve been doing this for under a year now and hence bank financing is difficult.

There’s a domestic , India-based opportunity which requires a working capital investment of INR 7 crores and I’m looking for an investor to join me. The opportunity is a commodity supply to a manufacturer of close to 5,000 MT to 6,500 MT per month with a target supply of 15,000 MT per month. With both supply and demand side in place, we seek funds needed for execution. Time is of the essence as commodity prices fluctuate weekly and there’s no fixed investment time period. We only deploy the capital when both demand and supply side is confirmed and don’t speculate.

We will offer 3% per month with an option to reinvest.

There will be complete transparency with regular MIS reporting and bank to bank transactions (no cash transactions).

Please DM if interested. Thank you.

Hi,

I am working on my first export shipment and the buyer is insisting on 100% CAD bank to bank FOB Nhava sheva. While I’m aware of how this payment term works, as I’ve never dealt with these terms yet, I’m not sure of the real-world risks of default of the buyer at the last moment. Could anybody let me know what happens if the buyer defaults on the payment? Bad intentions aside, is there any way to ascertain the liquidity profile or credit worthiness of the buyer (unofficially in all likelihood) who has given me his CIS and bank details? If I ask my bank to check this would they be able to do it internally without revealing sensitive information?

I usually import exotic fruits into India and this would be my first export shipment.
